BlackWater Treasures Lopi is pure Icelandic wool, spun in a loose fat single.  Lopi as a pure wool yarn is lightweight, warm, and easy to work with.

Lopi can be used for knitting, crocheting and nalbinding as well as weaving. Handmade garments are comfortable, breathable, and will keep you warm while enhancing your fashionable look.

Its natural colors: black, grey, brown, cream and white combined make perfect Icelandic knitwear for everyday styles.  White skeins dye incredibly bright and grey/brown over dyed skeins give a heathered more earthly look.

Each skein is:  100% wool. 100 g (3.5 oz.) approx. 100 m. (109 yd.). Gauge: 13 sts to 10 cm (4") over St, st using size 6-6½ mm (Old UK 4-3) (US 10-10).
